Ryan Hixon
Chief Operations Officer

As the Chief Operations Officer at Pacific West, Ryan Hixon brings more than 10 years of experience in the independent financial services industry, having worked in most areas of broker-dealer/RIA operations at both the processing and supervisory levels. 

Since joining Pacific West in 2003, Hixon has transformed the Operations Department from three employees focused strictly on clearing to a team of 15+ professionals whose concentrations include new business processing, mail room operations, order entry, account entry, order research and orphan accounts.

“My objective is to develop and manage the premier Operations Department in the nation, and to be a strong contributing member to the Executive Team of Pacific West,” Hixon said.

Prior to Pacific West, Ryan served as an Operations Manager at San Diego-based First Allied Securities, a broker-dealer and RIA where he managed the trading desk. Hixon has also worked in management for both TD Waterhouse Securities and at Jack White & Company.

He earned his BA in Finance at San Diego State University and was a member of the Finance and Investment Society.  He also attended the GMI Engineering Institute in Michigan where he completed three years in mechanical engineering, advanced mathematics and science, and he holds 6 securities licenses.

Hixon enjoys traveling, snow skiing and spending time with his daughter, Noelle.
